JAMMU, Nov 9: District Magistrates Jammu and Samba slapped stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) on two notorious criminals.
As per police sources, District Magistrate Jammu slapped PSA on a notorious criminal identified as Devinder Kumar alias Rahul, son of Darshan Lal of Chak Mohd Yar.
The dossier was prepared and submitted to District Magistrate Jammu through proper channel.
District Magistrate Jammu granted orders regarding detention of criminal under PSA.
The criminal was involved in 6 cases registered with Police Station RS Pura under FIR Numbers 38/14, 57/15, 105/15, 27/16, 157/16 and 237/17.
The PSA warrant was executed by RS Pura Police and the criminal has been lodged at Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu.
Meanwhile District Magistrate Samba imposed PSA on hardcore criminal namely Daleep Kumar alias Deepa, son of Mohinder Lal of Supwal, Tehsil and District Samba.
The dossier for the detention of criminal was submitted in the office of District Magistrate Samba by Senior Superintendent of Police, Samba. It is to mention herein that Daleep Kumar alias Deepa was the main accused in a case registered under FIR Number 146/17 under Sections 307, 452, 323 and 34 RPC registered at Police Station Samba in which some police officials were also involved.
District Magistrate Samba issued the PSA warrant for detention of Daleep Kumar under PSA.
The PSA warrant has been executed and the accused has been sent to jail.
