KATHUA, Nov 14: Basohli Football Club registered win over its rival in the ongoing ‘SSB Football Cup-2017’, being organized under ‘Samajik Chetna Abhiyan’ by 66 Battalion, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Jammu at Basohli, here today.
Basohli Football Club defeated Virsawarkar Government Higher Secondary School Basoli by five goals to nil (5-0), while in another match, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Basohli and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Basohli defeated GMHSS Plashi by a solitary goal (1-0).
At Billawar, Pallan Parnala Football Club Billawar defeated Billawar Public School by two goals to one (2-1) and Garden of Children Model School Dewal Billawar defeated Govt. High Model School, Bhadu by one goal to nil (1-0).
At Basohli, Mr Somnath, Principal, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Basohli was the chief guest, while at Billawar Yashpal Sharma, Principal of Govt. Higher Secondary School, Billa-war was the chief guest.
