JAMMU, Nov 17: Brilliant bowling display by J&K speedsters Mohammad Mudhasir and Ram Dayal Punia restricted hosts Haryana to 119/7 at stumps on day-1 of the four-day Ranji Trophy Group-B match at Lahli, Haryana today.
Earlier, J&K skipper Parvez Rasool won the toss and put Haryana into bat.
Batting first, Haryana were struggling at 119/7 with skipper Amit Mishra unbeaten on (11) and Harshal Patel on (15) when the stumps were drawn today.
Himanshu Rana top scored with (35), while Rajat Paliwal (23) and Shubham Rohilla (18) were the other contributors. For J&K, Mohammad Mudhasir took 4 important wickets by conceding 34 runs in his 16 overs, while Ram Dayal bagged 3 wickets by giving away 35 runs in his 18 overs. Rohit Sharma bowled 10 and Parvez Rasool one wicket-less over.
