Srinagar, Nov 20: Police today arrested three drug peddlers and seized contraband substance from their possession in Bandipora district of Kashmir.
A police spokesman said that acting on a specific input, police erected a checkpoint at Paribal village of Aloosa and apprehended three notorious drug peddlers namely Mushtaq Ahmed Dhobi alias Ketta, Muhammad Ramzan Sofi alias Darzi and Rameez Rashid Bhat alias Hefa. “250 grams of charas and 390 tablets of Aprox 0.5 mg, Clonazepam and Spasmo Proxyvon was seized from their possession,” he said.
In this regard, the spokesman said, a case FIR number 159/2017 under Section 8/20/22 NDPS Act was registered and investigation was taken up,” he said.
