JAMMU, Nov 21: Sahil Lotra slammed a brilliant century to help Jammu and Kashmir score a good total of 338 runs in their first innings and inflict follow-on on A&A Team after bundling them out for a paltry total of 91 runs in the Cooch Behar Under-19 Trophy at Shillong, today.
Earlier, resuming from an overnight total of 266/5, J&K managed to score 338 runs. Sahil Lotra, who was unbeaten on 72 runs continued his brilliance and scored a magnificent ton (105) runs off 257 balls.
According to the reports reaching here, Lotra was in awesome form and hit the ball with grace and brilliance. Skipper Qamran Iqbal (85), Vivrant Sharma (51) and Raghav Sharma (38) were the other major contributors from J&K. From A&A Team, Paramjeet Singh was the pick of the bowlers who took 6 important wickets, while Akash Kumam claimned 2 wickets.
In reply, J&K bowlers bundled out the rivals for meagre 91 runs to inflict follow-on on them. Harshraj top scored with 24 runs. From J&K, left-arm spinner Javid Ahmad took 4 wickets, while medium pacer Aditya Chib bagged 3 wickets. Sahil Lotra and Umar Majeed claimed 2 and one wicket respectively.
Following on, A&A Team were 27/0 in their second essay, with Sonu Kumar Gupta (15) and Harshraj (10) at the crease at the draw of stumps on day-2 today.
