JAMMU, Nov 23: Usha Vohra, First Lady, participated in the Annual Day celebrations of the Lawrence Public School which was organized at the Abhinav Theatre, here today.
A very scintillating and educative cultural programme was presented by the students of the School which included an Opera, “Incredible India-Atulya Bharat”, comprising trips to various states of India and showcasing their culture and dance forms.
Mrs. Vohra thanked the School management for inviting her on this joyous occasion of their Annual Day celebrations to witness full of life performances of children. She noted that these presentations symbolized the rich diversity of India in a very telling manner. She wished the children of the School a bright future ahead.
Danish Rana, Managing Director, Police Housing Corporation, J&K was the Guest of Honour. Wing Commander (Retd.) M.M. Joshi, Chairman of the School; Shakuntla Joshi, Founder Principal of the School; Manish Joshi, Director of the School; parents, teachers and students were among those present on the occasion.
