Jammu Police Sports Festival in full swing

JAMMU, Nov 25: District Police Sports Festival-2017 for under-19 years (boys and girls), under Civic Action Programme (CAP), being organized under the overall supervision of SSP Jammu is in full swing.
Two Cricket matches were played among 4 teams of boys and 3 matches were played among 4 Girls teams today.
In Semifinal Boys, Ranbir Higher Secondary School Jammu lost to Jammu Cricket Team by 13 runs. Monish was declared as the man of the match.
In boys final, Jammu Cricket Team defeated Model Academy by 8 wickets. Man of the match went to Adit Pal Singh, who got 3 wickets. Adit Paul was declared as the best bowler, Munish was declared as the best batsman and Dhruv was adjudged as the man of the series.
In girls final, Royal Cricket Club defeated Angel Cricket Club by 80 runs. Sanjana was adjudged as the women of the match. Alia was declared as the best bowler, Heena Batt was adjudged as the best batswomen and Kajal as the player of the series.
In valediction function, Dr. Vinod Kumar, SP City North was the chief guest who distributed the trophies and certificates among the players and officials.
Earlier, Rajesh Gill, Chief Prosecuting Officer (NHRC) Jammu and Nodal Officer of the event presented a detailed report of the Jammu Police Sports Festival.
