JAMMU, Nov 26: Young Heroes and Shaheen Football Club defeated their rivals convincingly in the ongoing Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Memorial Gold Cup State Football League Tournament, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College Football ground, here.
In the first match, Young Heroes defeated Mussa Club by four goals to one (4-1). For Young Heroes, the 1st and 2nd goals were scored by Pawan Deep Singh in 17th and 44th minutes, while the 3rd goal was scored by Ranvijay in 55th minute and the 4th goal was scored by Brij Charak in 69th minute.
From Mussa Club, Vishal Dogra scored the goal in 65th minute.
In another match, Shaheen FC defeated Sainik Colony FC by a solitary goal (1-0).
From Shaheen FC side, goal was scored by Aasish Mehra in 47th minute.
Red Card was shown to Anish Mehra of Shaheen FC.
Meanwhile in the third match, Vijay Club defeated Christian Star by three goals to nil (3-0). The 1st goal was scored by Sahil, the 2nd goal was netted by Mohit Verma and Rohit pelted the third goal.
In the fourth match, Churchill Brothers held Param FC to goalless draw.
The matches were officiated by Moon Stephen, Sanjay Kumar, Ricky Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Dil Bahadur, Suresh Gupta, Vijay Kumar, Dheeraj and Rockey.
