JAMMU, Nov 27: Ace shuttler Vidhan Gour won twin titles in Under-13 boys age group of the 44th State Badminton Championship, which concluded, here today.
The Championship was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Badminton Association at the two venues of MA Stadium and Police Lines Badminton Hall, here.
In the singles event, Vidhan defeated Ibrahim Ajaz in straight sets by 21-7, 21-12, while in Under-13 boys doubles event, the duo of Vidhan and Abhijit got the better of the pair of Sant and Sayam by 21-15, 21-11.
Apart from a galaxy of winners, Iknoor also impressed the organizers, coaches and officials with her performances.
MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed prizes among the winners.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest said that sports and games serve for delight, for ornament and for agility.
The matches were officiated by a panel of experts including Satpal Sharma, SAI Badminton Coach, Fayaz Ahmed, Amir, Pawanjeet and Vikram Jamwal.
