NEW DELHI, Nov 30: Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today called on Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Giriraj Singh and discussed the proposed development projects for J&K.
During the meeting, Ganga briefed the Union Minister about various development programmes and initiatives being taken up by the present Government in the State.
He submitted 6 proposals worth Rs. 1192.39 lakh prepared by J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board to the Union Minister for sanction under the Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI).
Ganga urged upon the Union Minister for early release of second and final installment of central share of Rs. 1026.92 lakh under the Scheme MSE-CDP.
He also raised with the Union Minister the issue of early sanctioning of ambitious Bee Keeping Project for J&K costing Rs. 125.36 crore.
The Union Minister of State assured the State Minister that Centre would look into all issues projected by him pertaining to MSME and initiate necessary action regarding redressal of the same.
