JAMMU, Nov 18: Criticising the role of political parties in the state for their failure in coming up to the expectations of masses, All Migrant Camps Coordination Committee (AMCCC) has made an appeal to Sarpanchs and Panchs to elect the MLCs from independent candidates instead of voting in favour of candidates of political parties.
The appeal was made in a meeting of the organization here today by its president Desh Rattan. He said the political parties have miserably failed to settle the problems of common man in the state and it is high time for the Sarpanchs and Panchs who too have been elected on non -party basis to vote for candidates who are not affiliated to any political party.
