Mountain biking trials held

SRINAGAR, Dec 10: Jammu & Kashmir Cycling Association organised mountain biking trials here for different age groups.
More then 50 mountain riders participated in the trials.
The trials were held under supervision of first gold medalist of J&K State Shahbir Akhoon and Tariq Khan, while Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat Joint Secretary, JKCA and Riyaz Wani Residential Secretary JKCA were also present on the occasion.
In senior men age group, Amir Asad, Mehraj Qayoom, Dr Mind Amin and Waheed were selected, while as in junior boys, Shajar Lateef and Asrar Shafi were selected.
In sub junior boys, Shuail Ahmad Dar, Suhaibul Mehraj and Hashim Nabi were selected, whereas in youth boy, Rahil Ramzan and Tanveer Gulzar, were selected. The final trials will be held at Jammu after two days.
The selected team will leave for National Mountain Biking Championship to be held at Pune in next month, which will be organised by Cycling Federation.
