Rajesh Tiwari elected president of Powerlifting India

JAMMU, Dec 14: Powerlifting India, formerly Indian Powerlifting Federation, recognised by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Asian and International Powerlifting Federation held its General Body Meeting at Alleppey in Kerala recently.
According to an official handout issued here, 30 affiliate units across the country participated in the meeting, wherein governing body of Powerlifting India was framed.
Rajesh Tiwari was elected as the president, while Arjuna Awardee, PJ Joseph was elected as the General Secretary.
Puran Singh and DS Malhi were elected as vice presidents, while Rattan Basak was elected as the treasurer.
