Rath flags off Mini Bharat Darshan Tour

JAMMU, Jan 1: DIG DKR Range, Basant Kumar Rath flagged off Mini Bharat Darshan Tour, under Civic Action Programme, for the students from rural areas of Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban districts.
Forty three students accompanied by four caretakers including 3 NGO’S and Deputy Superintendent of Police Iftikar Ahmed, DySP Hqrs Doda are part of the Tour. During this Tour the students are going to visit places of historical importance and other places of interest in Jammu, Amritsar, Chandigarh and capital city Delhi for six days.
The touring students will interact with political dignitaries, Nobel Prize winners, senior administrative officers and will also visit prominent schools in Delhi. The tour is of paramount importance and would not only be beneficial to the touring students but will also inspire other students to participate in future tour programmes.
Before flagging off the Tour, the DIG DKR Range interacted with the students.
While extending his good wishes, the DIG advised the student to make best use of this tour and explore all the possible important information about the visiting places.
Present on the occasion were SSP Ramban, Additional SP Ramban, SO to DIG DKR Range, Dysp Hqrs Ramban, Dy.SP DAR Ramban and other Police officers.
