JAMMU, Nov 22: Vidushi Dogra, Himanshi Saini and Ragnee Gupta emerged winners in the below 12 years (below 40 kg girls) event organised during the 2nd J&K State Open Kurash Championship being organised by J&K Kurash Association at MA Stadium here today.
In below 12 years category (35 kg girls), Sonalika Koul claimed first position, Palak Sharma claimed second position, whereas, Somia Sethi and Shalvi Saini shared third position.
In below 15 years (above 40 kg girls), Shikha Bhau and Mehak Pandita claimed first and second positions respectively, while, Hemanshi Nagri and Sanjana Manhas, shared third rank.
In below 15 kg (below 40 girls), Aditi Sharma, Niharika Hans and Bhumika Mahajan claimed first, second and third positions respectively.
In below 17 kg, Supriya Pandita took first position, Sumati Singh claimed second positions, whereas, Sugandhi and Jasmeet Kour shared third ranking.
In below 20 years (below 63 kg), Poonam, Mehvish Marwaha and Raksava Kousar took claimed first, second and third positions respectively.
In below 10 years (above 20 kg boys), Om Billoria, Radhav and Divyansh Sharma bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In below 12 years (below 25 years boys), Hitesh Pal and Naman Khadotra took first and second positions respectively, whereas, Aryaveer Singh and Achyut shared third position.
Earlier, Saurav Chowdhary, Chairman, J&K Kurash Association, who was the chief guest, declared the tournament open in presence of Dr Sandeep Singh, President, Dr Seema, General Secretary, Kunal Chib, Joint Secretary, Rohit Gupta, Treasurer and Rajat Sharma, Joint Secretary.
In the competition, more than 200 players from different district are participating.
