SFA Kathua outplays Hiranagar FC in Football

KATHUA, Jan 15: SFA Kathua defeated Hiranagar Football Club by (2-0) goals in the Hiranagar Invitational Gold Cup Football Tournament, here today.
State Football Academy (SFA), which is an initiative of International footballer Mehraj ud Din Wadoo, supported by J&K State Sports Council, won the hard fought match after scoring two goals in the dying moments of the match in second half.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Engineer’s XI will take on Jassmergarh Kings FC in first match, while hosts Hiranagar Football Club will lock horns with Kootah Royals FC in the second match.
Major Bhanu Pratap Singh and Forest Ranger Hiranagar were present on the occasion to motivate the players and support staff.
The matches were officiated by Dinesh Verma, Aniket Singh, Lalit Jamwal and Rakesh Singh.
