UDHAMPUR, Jan 15: Rehri Pheri Union today organized a protest rally against district administration for dislocating their ‘rehries’ from the town.
The rally began from Dabbar Chowk and reached at Deputy Commissioner office after passing through Gole Market, Mukherjee Bazar, Ram Nagar Chowk, Court Road, Salathia Chowk and Dhar Road.
The protesters were raising slogans against district administration. They said that they are not demanding jobs from the Government and earning their bread and butter through these rehries but the administration in a dictatorial manner dislocated all the rehries from the town.
The Union submitted a memorandum to the district administration but it did not allow the Union to install rehries in the town.
