JYOTIPURAM, Jan 19: Defeating CISF in an easy contest by 8 wickets, Salal Power Station, NHPC Limited today won the opening match of the T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Salal Power Station, here.
Four teams namely NHPC, CISF, JKP and KV Jyotipuram are participating in the Tournament in the events of Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton and Table Tennis.
Himanshu Shekhar, General Manager, Salal Power Station was the chief guest on the occasion who inaugurated the match in a well attended function. Rakesh Goel, Chief Engineer (Civil), besides a large number of supporters from NHPC and CISF were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion,the chief guest advised the players to play the game with sportsman spirit.
