JAMMU, Jan 20: A PDD daily wager died today due to suspected poisoning case in Channi Himmat area of city outskirts.
“The daily wager identified as Mohinder Pal son of Paras Ram, resident of Nagri (Kathua) started vomiting around midnight of yesterday while he was on duty at Power Station in Sector 1 of Channi Himmat”, a police official said.
He was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he passed away today at about 3 AM. “After completing all medico-legal formalities the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites”, he said, adding in this connection inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC were initiated at police station Channi Himmat.
