MTWA calls on MLC, RC

JAMMU, Jan 22: A delegation of Migrant Teachers Welfare Association (MTWA) led by its president Ramesh Raina called on MLC Ajay Bharti and Relief Commissioner ML Raina, here today.
The delegation, in separate meetings apprised the duo about the issues confronting to migrant teaching community.
The demands projected included shifting of Camp HSS Satwari to migrant inhabited area of Lower Barnai, early payment of HRA/CCA arrears, issuance of RBA Certificates to migrants belonging to specified Reserved Backward Areas in Kashmir, adjustment of leftover teachers promoted as Masters in the years 2013 and 2014 in Camp Schools of Jammu, adjustment of all the migrant employees in camp schools, providing Govt buildings to Camp HSS Bohri and Camp HSS Durga Nagar, which are housed in rented buildings.
The MLC as well as the Relief Commissioner assured the delegation that all their issues will be redressed at an earliest.
Prominent among others present in the delegation were Vinod Dhar, Bal Ji Marhatta, Sushil Razdan, Mano Ji Pandita, Rajesh Bagati, Satish Bhat, Sushima Pandita, Vitty Koul, Nanna Kumari, Vijay Tickoo and Rama Devi Ganju.
