AKHNOOR, Feb 6: Little Flower High School Akhnoor celebrated Annual Day with pomp and show at W No-2 Link Road, here today.
Sham Lal Sharma, Senior Vice President JKPCC was the chief guest on occasion, while Dr KC Bhagat, retired Scientist was the guest of honour and Suraj Singh Rathore, Principal Higher Secondary School (Boys) was the special guest.
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest and the other dignitaries.
Kr Sham Singh Langeh, Principal Little Flower High School Akhnoor read the annual report, highlighting the achievements of the School.
A variety of cultural items was presented by the students on the occasion, which included Punjabi and Dogri songs and dances.
The chief guest distributed prizes among the students and emphasized value based education. He also urged the parents to focus on educating girl child.
Parveen Kumar was awarded with the Best Teacher Award.
Finally, Som Raj Radha presented vote of thanks.
