Several members raise public importance issues during Zero Hour in Assembly

JAMMU, Feb 7: Several members today raised various public importance issues in Legislative Assembly during Zero Hour.
Mohammad Khalil Band asked the Government to expedite the pace of construction work on 5 Water Supply Schemes in his constituency sanctioned in the year 2005 and demanded for release of adequate funds for these projects. He also urged for timely completion and commissioning of these projects.
Shamim Firdous demanded for early recovery of loan from defaulters in Jammu and Kashmir Bank.
Rajeev Jasrotia urged the Government to expedite the construction work on two ongoing bridges in his constituency and asked to commission these bridges at the earliest.
Pawan Kumar Gupta asked the Government to improve the health infra besides functioning of the Health Department in Udhampur district.
Hakeem Mohammad Yasin demanded for providing of adequate staff both medical and para-medical to all New Type Primary Health Centres (NTPHCs) in his constituency.
Choudhary Mohammad Akram demanded for revocation of attachment orders of two Doctors posted in Primary Health Centres in his constituency.
Abdul Rahim Rather demanded for ensuring uninterrupted power supply in his constituency and also urged for augmentation of Receiving and Grid Stations of Kokernag area.
Shakti Raj Parihar demanded rationalization of Village Defence Committees, besides, he also pleaded for regularization of SPOs working in these Committees.
Bashir Ahmad Dar asked the Government to start construction work of hospital at Kupwara.
Mubarak Gul asked the Government for expediting the construction work on renovation of fountain at Eidgah Park and also urged to construct the building which was gutted in fire during 2016.
Usman Abdul Majid urged the Government to expedite the construction work on Water Supply Scheme Chitabanday in his constituency and asked to provide adequate funds for the project.
Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami advocated for immediate redressal of unemployment issue in the State. He asked the Government to create avenues and implementing skill developmental programmes and ensure ample opportunities for employment to the educated unemployed youth of the State besides urged for providing of financial assistance to them.
Dr Krishan Lal asked the Government for inclusion of left out children mentioned in census 2011 among the ration card holders.
Mushtaq Ahmad Shah asked the Government to improve power infra besides expediting the pace of construction work on all ongoing developmental projects in Tral constituency.

G M Saroori urged the Government for fulfilling of vacant posts including Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsildar, Programme Officer, Naib-Tehsildar in newly created administrative units in Inderwal constituency.
