UDHAMPUR, Feb 8: A deputation of J&K ReT Teachers’ Forum, led by State president Vinod Sharma and District President Udhampur Lekh Raj Parihar called on District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Ravinder Kumar and Chief Education Officer, Udhampur J R Bhardwaj.
During meeting with the DDC, the Forum highlighted the issue of MDM dues, which are not being cleared by the concerned treasuries. The DDC issued directions to DTO Udhampur to entertain the MDM bills on priority basis.
Earlier, the Forum deputation also called on Chief Education Officer Udhampur J R Bhardwaj regarding the issues of ReT cadre of the district. The Forum demanded in-situ promotion of left out ReTs/ 3rd teachers whose files are lying in the office, grant of post facto permission, release of MDM dues, issuance of GP statements to teachers, etc.
The CEO assured the deputation that left out in-situ files will be cleared with in a week and post facto permission will also be issued on priority basis.
Those who accompanied the deputation, included Sukhdev Singh Sumbria, Sukesh Khajuria, Pritam Goswami, Chain Singh, Ravinder Rathore, Parmod Sharma, Ajay Thakur, Rakesh Singh, Vipin Sharma, Sushil Singh, Swaran Singh, Ranjit Singh and others.
