JAMMU, Feb 8: Provincial Electrical Employees Union (PEEU), Jammu held protest in support of their demands at Rajinder Park, Canal Road here today.
The Union members led by PC Sharma, president, assembled at the Canal park and held protest during the day. They were demanding release of pending wages of all (3405) need base workers, allotment of proper designation with grade as per job assignment to all the PDD workers, release of technical grade to all ITI and equivalent workers, benefit of SRO 43, amendment in SRO 520 and implementation of SRO 59 in favour of all PDD employees of Jammu region.
Sharma criticized the higher authorities for their discriminatory attitude towards the Power workers from Jammu region.
