KUPWARA, Nov 27: The 2-days District Kupwara Wushu Championship concluded at Rozat-Ul-llum School of Thought (RISOT), Banwari, here this evening.
250 players from different schools and clubs participated in the Championship.
Major Ullas, Town Commander 41 RR was chief guest on the occasion, while District president, Parveez Ahmed Sheikh was the guest of honour. According to a handout issued here, District Pulwama Wushu Championship was also held on November 21 and November 22, 2012 at Government Higher Secondary School, Koil in Pulwama.
Meanwhile, the selection trials for the 12th Sub Junior Wushu Championship will be held on December 3, 2012 at MA Stadium Jammu. The pre-participation coaching camp for the state Sub Junior Wushu team will be held at Wushu Hall MA Stadium Jammu from December 4 to December 22 and the team will leave for Chhattisgarh on December 22, 2012.
