Various organisations for action against Akbar Lone for raising pro Pak slogans

JAMMU, Feb 11: More organsiations have condemned the former Speaker of State Assembly and sitting NC MLA Mohammad Akbar Lone for raising pro Pak slogans in State Assembly yesterday and demanded stern action under the law against him.
The Dogra Front Shiv Sena also protested against former Speaker and NC MLA, Akbar Lone for raising slogans of Pakistan Zindabad in the State Assembly yesterday.
Lone raised slogans of Pakistan Zindabad in the Assembly which deserves condemnation and Government should take action against him under the Sedition Act said Ashok Gupta president of Sena. He said Lone has taken the oath to abide by and  follow the Constitution and serve India by protecting it from foreign enemies and his slogan is nothing more than hypocrisy towards the oath, he added.

Thakur Randhir Singh, State NCP condemned, NC MLA’s Mohd Akbar Lone for raising pro Pakistan slogans who has chanted Pakistan Zindabad inside the J&K State Assembly and demanded that the MLA be removed from the Assembly who has violated the oath of office he has taken as a legislature and  his immediate arrest .
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by its district president Kathua ,Prem Nath Dogra held a protest demonstration against the National Conference Supremo, Dr Farooq Abdullah and its MLA Mohd Akbar lone. They brunt the effigy of NC leaders and raised anti slogans at Shaheedi Chowk Kathua.
While addressing, Prem Nath Dogra criticized the NC for supporting the Pakistan and raising slogan in support of Pakistan in Assembly. He alleged that MLA has also love with Pakistan and so he is issuing statements in favour of Pakistan. It is matter of shame for the party leadership which claims to be secular and nationalist when its MLA raises pro Pak slogans and demanded his arrest under Sedition Act.
Kashmiri Hindu Conference president Advocate M L Thusu, its convener P L Koul Budgami and Magam Bangil Sabha president and Trade Union leader, Raj Nath Raina have also expressed their concern and shock over the pro-Pak slogans raised by NC MLA Akbar Lone who happened to be the ex-Speaker of State Assembly also.
In a joint statement, they said that it puts a question mark on the secular credentials of NC which is claiming that the party’s towering leader Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah rejected the two nation theory and joined the secular India in 1947. If NC really stands by its late leader, it should not lose a single minute in removing Lone from primary membership of the Party, they added.
Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) president, Kundan Kashmiri also condemned the pro Pak slogans raised by Lone in State Assembly yesterday and said that the Jammu and Kashmir based Hindu leaders of the party should introspect whether they should remain in the party or resign enmass. Kashmiri said the sentiments of nationalist people have been hurt by Lone’s action.
The Public Opinion Forum (POF) members took serious exception to sitting MLA of the National Conference who chanted “Pakistan Zindabad” inside the Assembly and thereafter even dared to tell the press that he has done nothing wrong.
“When such is the mentality of our lawmakers and policy makers, we don’t have to look for the enemies anywhere else,. They are right here in our legislature’’. POF also demanded an FIR be immediately lodged against the legislator and he must be put behind the bars for uttering such anti-national words inside the Legislative Assembly.
Persons like Akbar Lone who love Pakistan, must be sent to Pakistan and also persons like him may also be deputed, stated Rajiv Mahajan State president Shri Ram Sena in an emergency meeting called by the executive members.
Mahajan said that it’s openly clear that Akbar Lone is the mastermind of stone pelters in Valley and demanded action against him.
