JAMMU, Feb 11: National Cricket Club defeated KC Sports Club in an easy contest by 8 wickets in the summit clash to lift the title trophy of the KC Sports Club Cricket Cup at KC Public School ground, here today.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, KC Sports Club set a target of 101 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Abhishant Bakshi top scored with 53 runs, while Kashif contributed 17 runs to the total. From NCC, Vijay Dogra took 4 wickets, while Deepak and Vishal took 2 wickets each.
While chasing the target, NCC lost 2 wickets and won the match by 8 wickets. Abdul Samad and Rakesh contributed 48 and 47 runs to the total respectively. Anchal claimed 1 wicket from KCSC.
Vijay Dogra was declared as man of the match.
