JAMMU, Feb 13: The Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has expressed his condolences for the martyrs of attack on Army camp Sunjwan in Jammu on Feb 10 and their families. He has appreciated the bravery of the soldiers and their families.
During the encounter Shahzada Khan, wife of Rifleman Nazir Ahmed was seriously injured and was rushed to Military Hospital, Jammu where she was saved and also gave birth to a healthy girl child.
As a mark of respect to this brave woman and to bless the new born baby, SN Shrivastava, Special DG J&K Zone, CRPF met Shahzada Khan at the hospital on behalf of the Union Home Minister and conveyed the deep appreciation by the Home Minister of the bravery shown by the lady and further conveyed that till the time that there are persons like Shahzada Khan the country shall thwart such attempts gallantly and successfully.
He blessed the baby and presented a bouquet to the lady as a token of solidarity to her on behalf of Union Home Minister. He also appreciated the skills and efforts of the doctors and medical staff of the hospital for the way they handled the situation successfully and saved the life of Shahzada and also brought her daughter to this world.
