JAMMU, Feb 21: A contingent of 17 members of Junior Wrestlers left Jammu for participation in the 37th Jr (men) Free Style, Greco Roman Style and 20th Female Jr National Wrestling Championship to be held at Jaipur in Rajasthan from February 22 to February 25, 2018.
Earlier, the screening of the team was held at Judo Hall Indoor Complex, MA Stadium here under the supervision of Nazir Ahmed Joint Secretary Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council Kashmir, Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, Sports Council Jammu and Nuzhat Ara DSO Kashmir.
The Squad: Free Style Wrestling Team (Boys): Ravi Kumar, Mohinder Singh, Bachan Singh, Surjeet Singh, Subash Singh and Vikram Singh.
Greeco Roman Wrestling Team (Boys):
Shubam Sharma, Gourav Singh, Devinder Singh, Shashank Baru and Ujjwal Khajuria.
Female Wrestling team: Swastika, Arfana, Kritty Sharma, Rajni Sharma, Riya Chib and Mehul Sharma.
Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Raj Kumar Maini and Rakesh Khajuria, General Secretary JKWA are accompanying the contingent as coach, manager and technical official respectively.
