JAMMU, Feb 25: District Jammu clinched titles in both boys and girls sections in the J&K State Kho-Kho Championship, organized by J&K Kho-Kho Association, here.
Earlier, in the boys final, Jammu defeated Baramulla by 1 innings and 1 point, while in girls summit clash, Jammu outplayed Samba by 1 innings and 5 points.
President J&K Kho-Kho Association, S. Manmeet Singh distributed the trophies along with medals among the winners and runners-up teams on the occasion.
The matches were conducted by Ajay Gupta, Anil Sharma, Dhiraj Sharma (Coaches), Ravinder Bali, Vishal Brandies, Gagan, Anil Kumar, Ramandeep Karalia, Bhanu Priya, Kamal, Deepak, Shubham, Sahil, Sandeep, Shifali Bhau, Rohit, Palbinder, Pooja and Israr.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were S. BS Tirthi, Harjeet Singh, Kuldeep Gupta, Baba, MM Sufi, Pankaj Malhotra and Tarmeet Shenu. The chief guest lauded the efforts of J&K State Kho-Kho Association for holding mega events.
