JAMMU, Feb 27: Civil Secretariat Non Gazetted Employees Union has urged upon the State authorities to go for cadre review of the J&K Secretariat Services.
In a meeting of the Union held here today under the leadership of Ghulam Rasool Mir (president), the members urged upon the Chief Minister and the Chief Secretary for the conduct of cadre review of the Secretariat Services. They said Recruitment Rules of all the State Services provide for cadre review after an interval of five years. Unfortunately, it has not happened since long.
They also alleged that some KAS officers were misleading the Government by mis-interpreting Goyal Committee Report. They demanded that Goyal Committee report be implemented in letter and spirit.
