Warm send off accorded to retiring officers

JAMMU, Mar 2: Warm send off has been accorded to the retiring officers.
Dr M I Parray, Founding Director of the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) was accorded a warm and affectionate farewell on attaining his superannuation. In a function held here in the honour of Dr Parray, the JKEDI staff expressed their gratitude for his contribution in institution building and towards shaping them professionally. Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga, Commissioner/Secretary Labour and Employment Department, Kifayat Hussain Rizvi, Heads of various institutes/boards under the administrative control of the Industries and Commerce Department and staff of JKEDI were present on the occasion.
J&K Bank gave a warm send off to one of its senior officer Nishi Baru, who retired as President after serving the bank  in different capacities for three and half decades. Chairman and CEO Parvez Ahmed along with Executive President Vagesh Chander, Presidents P K Tikoo, Abdul Rashid Shegan, Vice-presidents and other senior officers attended the farewell held at Srinagar. Nishi Baru was currently presiding over the bank’s Supervision and Control Department.
A warms send off has been accorded to Ashok Kumar, Flock Supervisor Sheep Husbandry Department, Jammu on attaining the age of superannuation after rendering around 37 years of service. Dr Sanjeev Kumar, Director, Sheep Husbandry Department Jammu, who presided over the function presented a memento to Ashok Kumar and wished him a healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
Warm send off has been accorded to Arun Kumar Gupta, Headmaster, Government High School, Kotli Shah Doula, Tehsil RS Pura on attaining the age of superannuation by the officers, staff, students and prominent citizens of the area. Dheeraj Jandial, Chief Accounts Officer, Directorate of School Education Jammu, Choudhary Altaf Hussain, Joint Director, JKBOSE, Ravel Singh, President Gurudwara Committee and many others were present on the occasion.
