JAMMU, Mar 4: Army, Special Operations Group (SOG) and Rajouri police today conducted searches at various places following inputs about presence of the militants in Rajouri district. However, there was no trace of the militants during the day-long searches.
In the first phase, SOG and Rajouri police conducted searches at Tandwal, Chawa, Parri, Bakerwal Mohalla, Thandi Kassi, Iran Khanetar, Gambhir and Kakora villages while in the second phase, Army, SOG and police launched search operation at Dharhal Khoriwal.
However, presence of militants was not detected anywhere, sources said.
