JAMMU, Mar 7: Jammu East, MLA and party chief whip in State Assembly, Rajesh Gupta today kick started the work of the construction of the lane and drain at Mohalla Jatkatian in Ward No 5.
The estimated cost of the work is Rs 14 lakh. MLA was accompanied by the officials of the JMC including AEE Anil Gupta and JE, R.K.Koul.
Rajesh Gupta, while speaking on the occasion said that Jammu East Constituency is a densely populated area of the city and as such its developmental needs are also of a specific nature and the works have to be executed within the budget, space and time. He said “despite this challenge we have undertaken the development of Jammu East with a missionary zeal and spirit” .
He said that the results are all in front of everybody and people are the best judge.
Rajesh Gupta said that the BJP wave is all over the country and the people have realised that it is only BJP led by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi that can deliver on the agenda of development and take the country forward. The philosophy of “Sarv Dharm Sambhav and Vasudev Kutumbakam is being admired all over the world at a time when the whole world seems to be mired in strife and fragmentation”.
He said that India is well on its course to emerge as a world power and Vishwa Guru.

Later a vote of thanks was presented by the booth president of the Ward, Naveen Anand.
