SRINAGAR, Dec 4: Heaven Land School, MEI Pampore, Wilson Public School, Dr AGM City School and MF Public Institute thrashed their respective opponents and advanced to next round of the on-going Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy Coca Cola Inter-School Football Tournament, at Polo Ground here today.
In the first match, Heaven Land School defeated Islamia Model School Barzulla by 6:0 Goals, whereas, in the second match, MEI Pampore thrashed Sheikh-ul-Alam School, Chanpora by 3:1 Goals.
In the third match, Wilson Public School, Srinagar defeated Moon land School, Chattabal via tie breaker by 4:3 Goals.
In the fourth match, Dr AGM City School, Nowgam trounced Sultan-ul Arifeen School, Makhdoomsahib by 2:1 Goals.
In the last and firth match of the day, MF Public Institute, Aluchibagh defeated Al-Gazalia, Chanapora via tie breaker by 4:3 Goals.
In tomorrow fixture, Modern HS Solina will clash with Alameen, Srinagar, while as in New Convent Gogjibagh will play against Arun Public School. J&K Police Public, School will take on Bonvent, Nawakadal in the third match. Dr AGM Nowgam will face Sultan Arifeen Makdoom Sahib in fourth match and in fifth match Tiny Buds Nawakadal will clash with Oak Hill, Padshahibagh.
