JAMMU, Mar 18: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Marh Sukhnandan Choudhary laid foundation stone of a community hall to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 50 lakh at Gole Gujral village.
While speaking, MLA said that due to the joint efforts of the State as well as Central Governments, they succeeded in getting this cluster village, which will be developed on modern lines.
He informed that the total cost of the project will be around Rs 100 crores, out of which 52 crores will be spent in first phase.
“This cluster village will also consist of small populated villages such as Trilokpur, Khayarian, Gole Guljal and parts of Hazuri Bagh”, he said.
He added that the Narendra Modi led Government in Centre is keen to develop the rural areas at par with urban areas.
He also asked the people to take maximum benefits of centrally sponsored schemes launched from time to time.
SDM Marh, Tehsildar Marh, BDO Marh, Advocate Surinder Singh, ex sarpanches Raj Kumar and Harjeet Singh and a large number of political activists were present on the occasion.
