JAMMU, Mar 21: RMK Broadcasting Service presented musical bonanza cum concert “Sounth-tu-Saaz” here at Abhinav Theathre.
The programme was organized by Samooh Theatre and sponsored by Tourism Department as well as J&K Bank. The main attraction of the programme was music feature on Sharika Mahatmai which was presented first time in Abhinav Theatre after migration of Kashmiri Pandits in the back drop of set created on stage of Badam Wari over looking Hariparbat and Chekerishwar, the abode of Mata Sharika Devi.
A fusion dance Item on Indrakshi Strotrum was presented depicting the killing of demon Jalodbhav by Mata Sharika Bhagwati after Kayshap Rishi prayed to Bhagwati to save the lives of people living around Satisar from the wrath of Jalodbhav.
The narration was from Sharika Lehri written by Dr Triloki Nath Ganjoo and voice over by Vijay Dhar and conceptualized with music by renowned music director Kuldeep Saproo.
Other attraction of the event was live Leela singing by Shanti Lal Sidh and party and also by Kaka ji. Other singers who mesmerized with their voice were Sonali Dogra, Ankait Hashia and Shivani Koul.
Three dance items on ‘Dogre Dogre Us Dogre’, Chakri and ‘unity in diversity’ was presented by a group of dancers.
