LPEF urges Govt to implement 7th PC

JAMMU, Mar 26: All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation (LPEF) today urged the Government to issue notification for the implementation of 7th Pay Commission report in respect of State Government employees and pensioners.
The demand was raised during a meeting of the provincial body of the Federation, which was presided over by provincial president, Jagdish Raj Sharma. The speakers made a strong plea to the Government to implement 7th PC report on central pattern without any delay. They also demanded release of January 2018 DA installment on priority.
Abdul Majid Khan, president of the Federation, in his address, highlighted other demands like enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000, expediting the process of regularization of casual, adhoc and other workers, removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre and raising minimum daily wages upto Rs 350.
