UDHAMPUR, Dec 7: District Information Centre, Udhampur today organized a multilingual mushiara at Block Headquarters Ghordi in Udhampur district during the second day of Employment Fair.
The prominent and budding poets of the district which mainly include Duni Chand Tripathi, Dewarka Nath, Bishan Dass, Suraj Raina, Desh Raj Tripathi, Yash Paul Verma participated in the poetic symposium and presented verses touching all aspects of society.
Deputy Director Employment, Udhampur, Sandesh Sharma who was the chief guest on the occasion appreciated the efforts of Information department for organizing mushaira and said that such programmes should be organized in near future so that people in general and literary personalities of the district particular may participate in such programmes. He said that the poetic recitation during the ongoing employment fair made entertainment of the visitor and also helped to generate awareness among the people about the different income generating schemes.
