Valley PS drubs Green Land in Coca Cola Football Tourney

SRINAGAR, Dec 7: In the ongoing Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy Coca Cola Inter-School Football Tournament, five matches were played at Polo Ground here on Friday.
In the first match, Valley Public School Batmaloo defeated Green Land School by four goals to three (4-3). For the winners Burhan, Imran, Yawar and Owais scored a goal each.
In the second match, MF Institute Aloochi Bagh defeated Dr. AGM’s City School Nowgam by a solitary goal. For the winners the winning goal was scored by Munib.
In the third match of the day New Convent School Gogji Bagh thrashed Arun Public School Natipora by three goals to four goals. Nadeem, Fajar ,Suhail and Irfan scored a goal each for the winning team.
In the fourth match Modern High School Solina defeated Kashmir Harvard by two goals. For the winners Omar Mehraj and Mudasir scored one goal each.
Oak Hill Padshahi Bagh defeated Police Public School Bemina by four goals in the final match of the day. For the winning team Musaib scored three goals while as one goal was scored by Basit.
On Saturday four matches would be played. MF Institute Aloochi Bagh will clash with New Convent School, M.E.I Pampore will play against Green Valley Ellahi Bagh, Valley School Batmaloo will face Heavens Land Qamarwari and Modern High School will clash with Oak Hill Padshahi Bagh.
