JAMMU, Apr 5: J&K Govt Employees and Workers Joint Action Committee (R) has urged upon the State Government to remove anomalies in the pay grades of clerical cadre, enhance Medical allowance of employees and pensioners and release pending DA installment due from January 2018.

While talking to media persons here today, Babu Hussain Malik, president of the Joint Action Committee urged upon the State authorities to implement the judgment of the High Court vide SWP No. 3058/ 2015 MP No. 01/2015 in letter and spirit regarding removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre at an earliest.
Malik described the present Government as anti-clerical cadre and also urged upon the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Finance Minister to remove the pay anomalies of other cadre. He urged upon the Chief Minister and the Finance Minister to remove the pay anomalies before implementation of 7th Pay Commission and issue separate orders for the same.
The Trade Union leader also demanded conduct of DPC of all cadre in all the departments after every 6 months and reorganization of clerical cadre outside Civil Secretariat, release of DA installment due from January 2018 and enhancement of Medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month.
