JAMMU, Apr 5: Bagh-e-Bahu police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a woman drug peddler along with ganja.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station laid a naka at Qasim Nagar and intercepted a woman.
During checking, police recovered 1.200 grams of ganja from the possession of the woman and arrested her.
The arrested lady has been identified as Bano, wife of Ajeet, a resident of Rajiv Nagar.
A case under FIR Number 35/18 has been registered at Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bagh-e-Bahu Inspector Satish Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Arun Jamwal, SP South Sandeep Choudhary and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
