CCPA recommends prorogation of Parliament’s Budget Session to Prez

NEW DELHI, Apr 6:
The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs (CCPA) today recommended prorogation of the Budget Session of Parliament to President Ram Nath Kovind, official sources said.
Soon after the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha were adjourned sine die today,  the CCPA, chaired by Home Minister Rajnath Singh, met briefly to recommend prorogation of the session which was marred by disruptions.
The second half of the session, which began on March 5, saw almost daily disruptions in both Houses on different issues. (PTI)
