RAMBAN, Dec 9: Defeating Sadabahar Sports Club Maligam by a convincing margin in the final, Thatharka Sports Club Gool lifted the volleyball trophy, organized by IRP 9th Battallion Ramban, under Civic Action Programme at Government Higher Secondary School, here.
Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by SSP VK Bali, Commandant IRP 9th Battallion in presence of prominent citizens of the area.
While speaking on the occasion, Bali elaborated the sports activities under taken by Police Department, besides maintaining law and order and ensuring security of life and property of people.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were ADC Ramban, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Ramban, CEO Ramban, Principal HSS Ramban and ZEO Ramban.
