JAMMU, Apr 12: The Indoor Swimming Pool of KC Sports Club is a busy place during summer and people of all ages make use of it for learning swimming, honing skills or just enjoying the cooling experience.
A swimming competition for girls under-12 age category was organized today under the supervision of Coach Shama Kumari, David Sandhu and Sahil Loria.
It was heartening to note that quite a few of the participants, who had learnt swimming recently, were eager to test their skill level in the competition. After a few heats, competitors made it to the finals on time basis.
The final turned out to be quite exciting as the swimmers put in their best effort to outdo each other using their own swimming styles since there was no restriction of using a particular style only.
Eventually, Akshita Jain stood 1st whereas Manya and Mitakshra shared second and third positions resepctively.
