KCCC, Shastri Club log wins in Patel Memorial T20 Invitational Cup

JAMMU, Apr 19: Star-studded Kishen Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) and Shastri Cricket Club (SCC) registered convincing victories over their rivals in the ongoing 1st Patel Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Patel Cricket Club at Parade Ground, here.
The Tournament is being organized by Patel Cricket under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA). The event is being organized under the supervision of Jung Bahadur Singh Jamwal, President Patel Club and Vijay Sharma, Secretary of the Club.
In the first match, KCCC defeated Raja Cricket Club in an easy contest by 61 runs.
Batting first, KCCC scored 150 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 18 overs. Suryansh Raina (36), Ramdayal (33), Vimarsh Kaw (29) and wicket-keeper batsman, Raman Thaploo contributed unbeaten 14 runs to the total. From bowling side, Munna took 3 wickets, Vishal bagged 2, while Adil and Amir shared one wicket each.
In reply, Raja Club bundled out for 89 runs in 13 overs. Vishal, Amir and Rohit contributed 18, 12 and 10 runs respectively. For KCCC, left-arm spinner Vishal Kumar took 3 wickets, while Ramdayal and Balwan took 2 wickets each. Soumay Jain and Ankush Bandral also claimed one wicket. Ramdayal was adjudged as the man of the match.
In another match, Shastri Cricket Club defeated Patel Cricket  Club  by 8 wickets.
Batting first, Patel Club scored 102 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Sahil 23, Kalish 21 and Rohit 17 runs were the main scorers.
From bowling side, Varun took 4 wickets, while Anchal took 2 wickets and Jagmohan claimed one wicket.
In reply, Shastri Club chased the target in 8.1 overs by losing 2 wickets, thus won the match by 8 wickets. Arvind top scored with 50 runs, while Chander and Jagjit contributed 18 and 17 runs to the total respectively. From Patel Club, Udhay took 1 wicket. Varun was declared as man of the match.
The matches were officiated by Saleem ur Rehman, Sadiq Hussain, Madan Mohan, Amit Gupta, Sandeep Manchanda and Rahul Kumar, while the post match proceedings were conducted by Sohan Bharti.
