JAMMU, Apr 25: MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta and MLC Vikram Randhawa announced Rs 5 lakh each from their Constituency Development Funds (CDFs) for the construction of Pavilion Shed in Kabaddi Field at MA Stadium, here.
Mr Gupta and Mr Randhawa made the announcements on day-3 of the ongoing Dr Hedgewar T20 Kabaddi School Gold Cup Tournament while presiding over the function as the chief guests.
Parneesh Mahajan Chairman NSM Group of Colleges and schools, Abay Pargal of RSS, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, Chief Executive Officer of Association, Surinder Mohan, General Secretary of the Association and Karunesh Gupta, Organizing Secretary were present on the occasion.
Both the dignitaries lavished praise on the organizers and the J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association for promoting the Swedeshi Khel Kabaddi in nooks and corners of the State.
Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, Chief Executive Officer of the Association in his welcome address extended thanks to the dignitaries for this gesture.

In Girls Section, Jagriti Mission Tallab Tillo beat Raj Kamal Hr Secondary School by 4 points, Sarvodya Public School defeated SD Tarapuri by 7 points, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir drubbed SD Tarapuri by 41 points, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir got the better of KS Public School Muthi by 30 points and KNIT Model Academy beat SAI Shyam Public School by 7 points.
