Vishal Rising Stars enter finals of 1st Patel Memorial T20 Invitational Cup

JAMMU, Apr 27: Registering big win over Sehwag Cricket Academy, Vishal Rising Stars entered into the finals of the ongoing 1st Patel Memorial T20 Invitational Cup for under 16 boys, being played at Parade Cricket Ground, here.
The Tournament is being organized by Patel Cricket Club under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), under the supervision of Jung Bahadur Singh Jamwal, President Patel Club and Vijay Sharma, Secretary of the Club.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Sehwag Cricket Academy scored 123 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Achintya top scored with 44 runs, while Tushar and Arsh contributed 17 and 12 runs to the total respectively.
From Vishal Rising Stars, Praful Dhar, Ashim Nanda and Aditpal Singh shared 2 wickets each.
In reply, Vishal Rising Stars chased the target in 12.3 overs without losing any wicket, thus won the match by 10 wickets. Musaif Aijaz top scored with 72 runs, while Rohan Gill contributed 36 runs to the total. Musaif Aijaz was declared as the man of the match.
Ramesh Kotwal SP Headquarters Jammu was the chief guest, who was introduced with the participating team on the occasion.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain, Vinod and Rahul Kumar.
The final matches of seniors and Under-16 Tournament will be played on April 29, 2018.
