Sir,
The new ministry that has assumed office after the recent cabinet reshuffle should now live upto the expectations of people of the State. The image of the coalition Government took a severe beating during the last three years due to some unsavoury incidents and lacklustre performance of some ministers.
The new cabinet can make up for the losses only if it devotes itself whole heartedly for the public cause. There is no honeymoon time for the new incumbents as they do not have luxury of time with them. They have to burn midnight oil to pick up the tricks of trade to fulfil their commitments with people who feel ditched and discriminated by the Mehbooba led dispensation. The primary task of the Government is to bridge the widening gap between communities and regions of the State. Each region has its own set of grievances and these grievances need to be redressed in a manner which may pamper the sentiments of the people of that particular region. The present dispensation can expect a second turn only if it lives upto the expectations of people during this term.
Yours etc….
