MUMBAI: Ranveer Singh may have ‘out-crassed’ his Canadian counterpart when it comes to cussing in “Deadpool 2” but Ryan Reynolds proved that no one is better than him when it comes to delivering witty one-liners.
Ranveer has dubbed for Reynolds’ character of a expletive-spouting, anti-hero Deadpool in the Hindi version of the sequel and the actor tweeted about how rewarding it was to use foul language.
The Hindi trailer of the much awaited David Leitch-directed movie was released yesterday.
Sharing the trailer the 32-year-old Bollywood actor wrote, “Astonishing how effectively I’ve managed to out-crass my Canadian counterpart Ryan Reynolds. Never realised how fulfilling and rewarding foul Hindi language can be! #Deadpool2Hindi”
Reynolds, 41, who is known for his unique sense of humour, responded saying, “Well if I tried to curse in Hindi, pretty sure there would be an international incident.”
The film and the Hindi Trailer will be A-rated as the makers are sticking to the tone and irreverence of the English film.
Deadpool aka Wade Wilson possesses a superhuman healing power derived from that of the mutant Wolverine that allows him to regenerate damaged or destroyed areas of his cellular structure at a rate far greater than that of an ordinary human.
“Deadpool 2” is set to hit the screens on May 18. (AGENCIES)
